COUCOU BISOUX
july 12 - 21
•showroom hours: 3 - 8 pm
•wine soirée: 5 - 8 pm
part design showroom, part communal salon, coucou bisoux features a diverse collection of handpicked used and upcycled furnishings, ranging from antique to vintage to contemporary in both age and style. these pieces are accompanied by a selection of unique natural wines along with artwork from local artists.
inspired by the parisian salons of yore - and brought forth to the current day - the space is designed to function as an immersive rogue-style salon, a place where people can gather and share ideas. from there the showroom becomes a gallery of artistic exchange - where everything from art to furniture, to the wine glass you’re sipping from is for show, for tell, and for sale.
each piece is previously owned and locally sourced, thereby staying in the cycle of use and minimizing its carbon footprint. the wines follow suit, coming from small producers who practice organic viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking.
through the collection’s contents and the manner in which it is shared, the ethos of coucou bisoux is centered on the continual cultivation of communal exchange and the preservation of cultural artifacts.
